Air Conditioning System Repair: Diagnosed a central AC unit that would not start. Found a failed start capacitor on the condenser. Shut off power, replaced the capacitor, and tested the unit under load. The AC now starts reliably and operates at full capacity.
Heating System Repair: A homeowner reported that their heat pump was cycling on and off frequently and not maintaining the set temperature. Upon inspection, I discovered a failing thermostat sensor that was sending inaccurate temperature readings to the system. I replaced the faulty sensor, recalibrated the thermostat, and verified proper operation. The heat pump now maintains consistent indoor temperatures and operates efficiently.
HVAC System Repair: Arrived at the client’s home after reports of inconsistent system performance. Inspected the HVAC unit and found that the temperature sensor had come loose from its mounting bracket, causing inaccurate readings and improper system cycling. Remounted and secured the sensor in the correct position, verified proper calibration, and tested the system to ensure accurate temperature regulation.
