Wrapped up a call where I found a clogged condensate drain line on a Carrier Comfort Series air conditioner. If this line gets blocked, water can back up and cause damage. Clearing the blockage ensures proper drainage. Homeowners should periodically check this.
Performed an A/C pm on a rtu. Replaced the air filters and belt. Blew out the drain line, chemically rinsed the evaporator and condenser coils. Checked the electrical connections, pressures and temps. Fan- .9amps Compressor- 2.5amps 124.3/287.5 psi 13.9* sub cooling 50.6* supply/ 73.6* return System is operating properly.
Performed a midseason filter, change and operational check on the RTU. Replaced the air filters and Checked the belt condition. Started and tested the heating side of the system. Drained water from the water heater and checked the operation. System is operating properly.
Repaired a Trane XV95 heater experiencing short cycling. Found a clogged air filter and a dirty flame sensor causing ignition issues. Cleaned the sensor, replaced the filter, and tested the system. Confirmed proper heating and consistent operation after the repair.
Performed a heating pm on a gas RTU and a gas water heater. Replaced (4) 16x16x2 air filters. Cleaned the flame sensors. Started and checked the safety’s. Drained water from the water heater. Systems are operating properly.

Drained 3 gallons of water out of the water heater. Cleaned the thermopile, cleaned the burner. Started and tested the operation. Systems are operating properly.
