Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review! We're glad to hear you had a great experience with us.
X-treme Temp has been serving my house for many years. They are very professional and always provide awesome work. Before the scheduled time, I would receive notification that technicians are coming. After technicians(Andrew and Larry) arrive on time, they ask us if we have any questions. They wear booties to enter my house. During covid, they wear masks to make customers feel safe. Not only Andrew and Larry did the awesome service, they also found out a hidden controller which we could not find to turn on the humidifier. On top of that, they took time to answer our questions patiently. After the service, I received a receipt by email. I would strongly recommend this company to friends.
When we had a problem with one zone of our heating system, X-Treme Temp worked with the problem until it was solved. We are most appreciative.
Turned the system on, nothing turned on. Checked for power at the circuit board inside the furnace, there as no power. Started to remove the cover plate on the service switch at the furnace and the system turned on. Checked the wires on the switch, the power wire was not connected fully and came out of the terminal very easily. Secured the wires and tested. The switch did not turn the system on. The switch needs to be replaced. Replaced the service switch. Turned system on and checked the pressures and temps. The system is low on refrigerant. Added 6 oz R22. Turned the thermostat to heat and checked the operation.
A homeowner’s Bryant Evolution furnace in Cheshire was failing to ignite. The hot surface ignitor was cracked, and the flame sensor was covered in carbon buildup. I replaced the ignitor with a new Norton 271NM and cleaned the flame sensor. After resetting the control board, the furnace ignited without issues. The system is now running efficiently, providing consistent heat throughout the home.

Removed and replaced the 1st floor circulator pump relay panel. Started and tested.
Isolated the circulator pump for the first floor. Removed a spare pump and installed it where the first floor pump was due to noise. Replaced the circulator gaskets, opened the valves and checked for leaks. Turned the system on and checked the operation.
Checked the air handler, found the capacitor was bad. Replaced the capacitor and started the system. The blower turned on properly and the pipes are hot going to the coil.
Performed a heating pm on an oil furnace. Brushed and vacuumed. Replaced the oil filter, nozzle and strainer. Started and checked the safeties. Performed a combustion test. System is operating properly.
Brushed and vacuumed flue pipe and heat exchanger Replaced oil filter, nozzle, and strainer Checked all electrical connections and safeties Performed combustion and smoke tests Bled air from all zones. When starting and testing the boiler we noticed water pooling on the ground by the base of the boiler. Upon further investigation we found a small leak is starting to develop between 2 sections of the boiler when the boiler temp is colder. Showed the customer the leak and informed them of what to do should the leak get more serious. Took pictures to work up a replacement quote.
Brushed and vacuumed flue pipe and heat exchanger Replaced oil filter, nozzle, and strainer Checked all electrical connections and safeties Performed combustion and smoke tests 5.8%o2 40 ppm co 0 smoke While performing the maintenance the customer stated the autofeed was leaking by and he needs to periodically check the boiler and add pressure. After getting customer authorization we drained some pressure from the boiler and removed the old autofeed. Installed a new autofeed and purged air out of all 3 zones. Started and tested the system. When leaving boiler pressure was at 20 psi. Unit is working properly.
