For $79, he told me what he thought was the issue which I had already figured out. His cost estimate for the repair seemed excessive for what needs to be done

We charge to come out to do a system check. You agreed to this over phone. If you knew what was wrong why didn't you tell when you made the appointment. We could of gave you the price over the phone. You refused to pay what you agreed to.
