Work done promptly and correctly. Not-to-exceed quote was honored. Lots of new questions arose regarding filter tanks, most answered to our satisfaction, so we added the tanks - more economically than to buy the name-brand tanks off the web. Would recommend.
- Install a 48,000 grain metered Clack water softener with a Clack WS1 digital filter valve with an 8 hour internal battery back-up for memory retention, 1" Clack bypass assembly and brine tank. -Install a 2x10 whole house sediment filter Plumb existing UV into correct position in line Install sealed well cap
Installation of an ATS GDS8 UV light system with sediment filter. Complimentary well chlorination included.
Pull existing pump (10 gpm 1HP 2w 230) and replace pump, wire and pipe. For purposes of this estimate we are estimating a pump set depth of 400'. Wire pipe and pump are priced accordingly with the pipe and wire on a linear foot basis. Our crane truck is required to pull the pump. The well will be chlorinated and the old pipe (we are assuming galvanized pipe) will be removed and disposed. The new pipe specification is schedule 120 PVC and the wire is 10/2 flat jacketed wire. A torque arrestor and thermal splice kit will be used.
Install GDS 8 GPM light system, chlorinate well and replace well cap. Advise client on clay/iron in the water and discuss Katalox. BH$ water test is out for analysis, and they have early results: positive bacteria and e coli.
Replace water logged WX203 well tank. We have opted for the Well-Rite tank versus the Well-Xtrol tank due to our experience with the Well-Rite tanks being of better quality in recent years. Both tanks are 32 gallons. Included in this estimate is the 50% refund of the original service call.
Install a Clack 48K water softener and perform a BH2 water analysis.
Remove existing water softener and install a Filtersorb SP3 protector. Install a pre-filter and a GDS8 UV light system.
