Excellent, Honest Service

When Mike came out to our house and did a service on our furnace he found that the blower was bad. He had the part on his truck and had our furnace working like new again in no time at all. It's a pleasure to work with a great company like Hurlburt's and people like Mike. Thanks! I'm going to tell all my friends and family about the great experience I had.

Responded to a no-heat service call for a makeup air unit at the headworks building that was previously serviced by Mike B. Diagnosed excessive airflow error code, adjusted airflow pressure settings and reconfigured switch tubing. Monitored unit operation until confirmed stable. Unit is now functioning properly, but recommend ordering a replacement discharge air sensor as preventative maintenance.

Identified and repaired a leak at the adapter connecting the water softener to the drain line. Inspection revealed the issue stemmed from the installation configuration where both water treatment tanks were connected to a single drain line using the original softener drain pipe. Properly secured connections to eliminate the intermittent leak that had persisted despite previous repair attempts.

Diagnosed boiler system operating at 30% capacity with outlet temperature of 170°. System functioning as designed but requires cleaning when weather permits; current exterior temperature (-20°F) made immediate cleaning inadvisable. Identified significant heat loss due to structural wall damage allowing cold air infiltration around rim joist; recommended structural repairs to improve heating efficiency. Customer will schedule future cleaning service.
