Upon arrival unit was off. checked air filter and evaporator coil. Evaporator coil was clean but the air filter was slightly dirty. Replaced the air filter started and tested unit with both zones on. The indoor unit turned on, but only the condenser fan turned on outside. Upon further investigation, we found the capacitor for the compressor was bad. After getting customer authorization, we replaced the capacitor. Started the unit. Found the pressures were slightly high and condenser coil was dirty. Rinsed off outdoor condenser coil with water. Started and tested the unit and found the pressures dropped after the condenser coil was clean. Unit is now working properly and refrigerant levels are within manufacturer’s specifications. Recommend installing a discharge air temp sensor.
