Installed the unit in the utility room with proper connection to cold water main before it splits to hot water heater. Added bypass valve setup for outdoor irrigation lines to conserve salt. Modified existing plumbing with PEX lines and shark-bite fittings to accommodate the new system. Installed floor drain for softener backwash cycle and connected to existing drain line. Set up programmable control head based on water hardness test results (22 grains) and household size (4 people). System is now operating efficiently with proper regeneration cycles. Verified zero hardness in treated water after installation. Provided customer with maintenance instructions and left a 3-month supply of salt pellets. Southside Plumbing disconnected the power to the Moen Flo valve. This was done at the customers request because the Moen Flo has been detecting false alarms. The water supply inside the home was left on.
