The hot water return line was repaired on a previous visit. When turning the water back on, the shutoff valve to the heater failed and would only open partially. Southside Plumbing replaced the valves with ball valves on the hot and cold lines. The valves were installed using soldered pipe and fittings.
Installed a new Grundfo pressure pump, hope this one lasts a lot longer than the last one. It was great time talking with you. Wishing you and your family all the best. Mark and Adam.
Replaced a leak on the hot recirculation line. Turned on and tested for leaks. Also sent an estimate to have both valves above the heater replaced
Roughed in topout plumbing for basement bathroom addition. Installed fiberglass shower pan.
Replaced 6 gallon water heater under the sink in the Gate 3 clubhouse.
Customer was experiencing a back up in the toilet in the master bath. This is the second time Southside Plumbing has come out to address this issue. The customer had unclogged it themselves. Southside Plumbing tried to re-create the clog, but was unable to. The homeowner is going to do some research on toilets and get back to us on either Southside Plumbing purchasing and installing, or homeowner supplied toilets with installation. This would be for all three bathrooms.
Rebuilt the Leanord commercial mixing valve in the Canyon club Poolhouse and set the outgoing water temp @ 110°
The backflow preventer is intermittently discharging water pressure which sets off a water flow alarm. The backflow preventer also had a previous leak that was solved by the homeowner. This was done by tightening the fasteners on the front of the device. It is recommended to replace the backflow unit with a new one to ensure proper operation for years to come.

Replaced internal parts on rear hose bibb.
Repaired leak in ceiling at canyon club pool house feeding the slide. Re-secured the handle to the diverting valve.
-For the main floor toilet we put 1/4 turn compression valve, fill valve, flex, connector, and new valve seal in the tank. We also reduced the pressure from 85 psi to 60 psi. Took out restrictors in kitchen faucet to increase pressure there as well as the master shower handheld sprayer. to turn on the master shower you need to pull it, which is hard to adjust to get the exact pressure that you want. Adding on a new shower cartridge would be a lot easier to get the exact pressure. Definitely save up some money for the water heater, as it is 24 years old. This is something that probably should have been addressed on the sale of the house. Nonetheless, give us a call for any other needs come and buying a new home. The kitchen sink is new and needs to be replumbed inside the cabinet. Southside Plumbing reconnected the drain and installed a disposal. A new faucet was installed and the dishwasher was reconnected. A disposal push button kit was purchased and installed to operate the disposal. The faucet and disposal were supplied by the homeowner. After reconnecting the dishwasher and testing it with a rinse cycle, the dishwasher leaks a significant amount of water when the drain cycle starts. Water was observed dripping from the area where the pump connects to the bottom of the dishwasher. The dishwasher was turned off and unplugged.
