Arrived at location on 7/29/21 -per customer, unit wasn't cooling. Checked condensing fan and condensing coil, ok. Checked for shorts to compressor, ok. Reset compressor on high pressure switch. Spoke with tech support and was explained that a power surge can cause issue if fan and coil are ok. tested after resetting high pressure switch and unit is now freezing, all ok.

Arrived on site on 7/22/21 and spoke to mod. The unit was running on arrival. I found that upon starting the unit up, the motor struggled to run and the belt that is in place is a replacement belt. Will need to replace both to fix issue. Unit is working at this time. Will quote repair.

Arrived at location on 7/16/21 - Looked at exhaust fan. Belt was in decent shape and tension was good. Drive pulley was grooved. Called distributor and got a price on a pulley. Spoke with chef and told him ballpark pulley price. He said go ahead and change it. Picked up pulley and new belt. Aligned pulley with straight edge and set sheave adjustment identical to old pulley. Tested fan. Rated 12 amps at 120v. Actual amps 10. Pulley has no more adjustment and fan cannot be sped up. Building is in a slight negative. If this doesn’t make a big enough improvement we will need to look at the buildings makeup air. Job complete.

Arrived at location on 6/29/21 - Found high pressure switch stuck open because the condenser coil was blanketed with dirt. I chemically cleaned the condenser, but the pressure switch wouldn’t reset. I replaced the switch and the condensing unit now runs. I also brushed off the evaporator coil, because it was also covered in dirt. Cooler temp is coming back down but it will take a while to bring it down to set temp because of the warm product inside.

Found the center small exhaust fan off with wire disconnected, but the motor looked brand new. The variable pitch motor pulley was bent which caused exhaust fan to shake when it ran. I picked up new pulley and installed it and that exhaust now works. The small exhaust on the right was noisy because it has bad bearings and had a cracked belt. I replaced the belt so unit would move more air but that also increased the noise. This exhaust fan should be replaced. The large exhaust on the right had a worn belt which was very loose. There was a spare in the housing which I put on, and now that the belt is tight it is moving more air. The rest of the exhaust fans were okay.
