Downstairs split AC. Found system very in refrigerator, which is causing the system to freeze over and restrict air flow. Performed leak search with an electronic leak detector and found the the evaporator coil is leaking. Coil will have to be replaced in order for refrigerant to remain in the system and work correctly. Will submit to AHS for authorization of repairs
Tempstar split furnace and ac. At arrival, found system very low on refrigerant. Found evidence of oil in furnace and along lineset that connects to eval coil. Performed leak search and found that the lineset is leaking. Will need to replace damaged section of refrigerant line. Submitted for authorization of repairs
Preformed heating tune up on both upstairs and downstairs trane air handler
Found a cracked heat exchanger on the customers 35 year old Rheem gas furnace. The furnace is not safe to operate.
