Upstairs Goodman heat pump. Found faulty nest thermostat. Thermostat will not send proper signal for the ac to work. Verified by installing another thermostat and system works. Customer will contact nest and have the therm warrantied out.
Found unit damaged beyond repair. Quoted for replacement and customer accepted. Installed new HVAC system today
Found and replaced shorted transformer. After repairs, ran unit and tested. Quoted to clean the condenser coils for maximum performance. Cleaned the coils and tested again and unit is now running very well
Found no mechanical failures on system. System was running as it should and cooling very well. Due to the age and conditions of the system, all options should be explored
