Albert was thorough is his attempt to isolate the point of failure of the Daikin installation. This is what he identified as that failure. At this stage of the game, Albert Gomez (Power Pro Plumbing) found a leak at one of the connectors (of the double header system). He chose to use the proper torque wrench to secure the leak. Additionally, he added 3 pounds of refrigerant as needed to replenish the system. At this point, it seems as if there is nothing wrong with the original (new) unit. The error occurred during installation when the installers improperly tightened the connector. Simply put, a lack of due diligence led to this situation ( at some cost to me, approximately $1500 up to this point--- ) 2 different companies to diagnose and find the point of failure plus the cost of securing the leak and replacing the lost refrigerant. I appreciate your follow through and I will contact you if I need your assistance in the future. Thank you. Obviously, we will have wait and see if indeed the failure of system has been correctly diagnosed and properly addressed. I do have one question; for this particular unit, I expect to see an LED room temperature display on the inside headers--- which is no longer displayed. I would appreciate getting the bottom of the lack LED display.
