The customer called for a semi-annual inspection of their kitchen Amerex fire suppression system. I scheduled the appointment and arrived to do the service for them. I took the system offline and inspected each component of the system. I found no major defects or problems. I changed the fusible links and the low temp caps of the nozzles. I put the system back to operational mode and wrote a report for the customer. I let them know their next visit would be in 6 months.
I was called by the customer to inspect their Kitchen Ansul Suppression System. I did a site survey and then proceeded to test it for any defects and if it would properly function. I changed out the fusible links and 5 rubber nozzle caps. I put the system back online and it is now in good working order. I let the customer know they were protected and could start cooking once again.
Fire suppression inspection of the 2 Ansul Systems.
Kitchen hood services performed on the Main Hood, the Prep Hood, the Pizza hood and the filters. We cleaned the inside of the hoods, the ducts and the fans. We found the fans will need a couple more cleanings to be 100%. Next service is due in February. We call to schedule the appointments 1-4 weeks in advance.
Did the Annual fire extinguisher service and the semi-annual fire suppression inspection on the Ansul R102 3 gallon system. Checked the gauges and tagged the 7 fire extinguishers (they only needed to have an inspection done this round). The fire suppression system needed new links and nozzle caps this time. Everything is good to go.
