Unfortunately the issue would require additional assest beyond Dan's job discription and another appontment was made to address my sewer line issues. Customer States: There are two toilets that will not flush. One in the upstairs guest bathroom and one in the master bathroom. Contractor States: Needing an estimate to move a gas line that is blocking the way of a support beam being installed in place of a load bearing wall. Technician Notes: The 1/2” black iron gas line the contractor is referring to current serves the stove on the main level. This drop down from the attic, through a 2nd story wall, into the main level ceiling, over roughly 12ft and down the wall the stove will rest against. Will have to cap off existing line in the attic. Install a new tee and drop a new line down the wall where the stove is. Resolution: Went over plan and pricing with the contractor and customer. While on site I found that there was a half inch copper line in the garage ceiling that had ruptured due to freezing water. Resolution: I cut out the section of half inch copper that was ruptured and replaced it with pex. While on site I started in the garage with the and checked over the water heater to find the thermal expansion tank has failed due to age. 5e thermal expansion tank is supposed to be full of compressed air instead is full of water. Resolution: checked through the whole home and found everything functioning properly as should with no leaks or drips the only issue found was with the thermal expansion tank. CUSTOMER STATED : There is a leak in the garage wall. TECHNICIAN NOTES : Out to the residence today for the concern of a leak in the garage wall. After investigating, we found the leak is caused by a pin hole in the CPVC 1/2 piping that is going through a wood stud. Water pressure in home is good, testing at 70 PSI. RESOLUTION : Replaced approximately 10 ft of 1/2 inch CPVC piping with 1/2 pex piping. After making repairs, 1/2 inch hose bib line has been pressurized and tested for proper functions. There are no further concerns at this point in time. Clean out located in driveway.
