Customer called because when the basement toilet was flushed, there was a gurgling sound, and the water was splashing back up. Next to the basement bathroom, there was a sewage ejection pit. We removed the vent piping to the pit to gain access to look inside. When this was done, we noted that the inlet port for the ejection pit was entirely plugged. Southside plumbing, pulled the basement toilet and snaked through into the ejection pit. The downstairs bathroom is now flowing with no gurgling.
