Today, I came out to our clients home to take a look at an irrigation supply valve that had a drip. The irrigation valve for this home is a 1 inch ball valve, the packing nut wasn’t tight enough and water was dripping around the handle. Water was dripping so slowly that there was barely any water in the bucket below the drip. I removed the handle and tightened the packing nut. I did not charge for this and there is no warranty. I simply did this as a nice guy special for a new customer. While I was here, I noticed that the water heaters are from 2007 My client is going to consider replacing them before they give them any trouble. They are interested in having two 50 gallon 40,000 BTU water heaters installed just the way they have them now, with some upgrades to make them more functional for the future.
