The customer had water leaking under the kitchen sink. After running some water, I pinpointed the dishwasher drain as the problem. The kitchen sink drain was backed up and overflowing into the cabinet from the dishwasher drain standpipe. I snaked the kitchen sink drain multiple times. The machine ran a total of 75 ft. This way, we are sure the snake went through the entire kitchen sink drain and into the home’s main sewer line, to the outside. I also noticed the flanged tailpiece, for the basket strainer, didn’t have a gasket. I put in a gasket to stop the water from leaking.
