Prompt service after placing a service call !!

Tech showed up went over the issues we were having. Was able to correct one concern, but needed to order parts for the second issue. Parts were ordered while on site, and they were back in a very timely manner to make the repairs.

On, 8/25/23 Sean Arrived on site, spoke with manager about issues with BKI fryer. He said he found a probe inside of the fryer snapped off. Found that it was the hi limit. He had two spares due to this happening in the past. Used one to repair this fryer. Turned power off to the unit. Took front and left covers off to access the hi limit. Removed old hi limit and replaced with new. Fastened it directly behind the element to keep it out of the fry baskets way. Buttoned unit up and reestablished power. Tested unit and it now powers on and heats. Job is complete

Arrived at location on 5/25/22 - Checked range top burner pilots. Left 2 rear and front middle pilots are out. Will not light. Adjustments don’t work. Cleaned tips. Still no gas. Need to replace lines. 2 rear and 1 front. Right oven pilot was out. Maintenance said they couldn’t get it to light at all. No flame. It lit right away for me and stayed lit while on site. Possibly the safety is faulty. They said they will call if it happens again. Left oven was soothed. Checked gas pressure to unit. Was at Uld be 4”. Adjusted down. This would cause a shooting issue. Will obtain pilots and return. Customer is advised to have the left oven cleaned. Will return. Returned to location on 6/1/22 - Removed middle 2 and left rear pilots and installed new. Lit pilots and adjusted to proper height. Customer okay’d. Back in service.

Arrived at location on 5/6/22 - Turned on steam and could not get to give error code. Was told can take 30-60 minutes to appear on screen. Removed the ignitor and checked the tank and found no water inside. Tank is in good condition. Believe the module relay is giving issue. Turned on again and allowed to steam for 25 minutes and the “reset gas” appeared. Will order new module and ignitor for the oven. Will return. Unit is in use with hot air only. Returned to location on 5/24/22 - Dissembled the unit and removed the module. Replace the module with a new one and went wire for wire to have it exactly the same as previous. Removed the ignitor and replaced it with a new one. Reassembled and tested oven in steam on “cont” for 15 minutes. Opened and close door and ran it for another 15 minutes. Unit is working good and ready to steam. Combi oven back in service.

Rinse contactor energized each time. Getting 16 amps per leg on all 3 elements. 208v. The rinse temp on the rinse piping was reading 190 when the digital temp was reading under 150.
