Commercial Kitchen Appliance Repair Service. Arrived at the location on 5/1/23 for commercial oven repairs. Arrived to find a new spring on the unit replaced by the customer. When the oven door would open, the spring tension would shut the door. Was able to adjust the tension on the new spring and set it to the customer’s liking. Tested the open/shut function of the door several times and found it good after adjustment. Explained to the customer that the new spring may stretch over time and readjustment may be needed.
Arrived at location on 9/4/22 - replaced top unit thermocouple, good to go. Crossbar and brick pans on top of burner, no chimney stack on flue.
Arrived at location on 6/12/21 to check on bottom oven pilot. Lit pilot, pilot held found poor impingement thermocouple slid down. Adjusted tension on thermocouple spring to hold better and adjusted pilot hood very good impingement all ok.
upon arrival ovens off started at 200' left side 196 right side 235 went to 250 both left side 248 right side 290 went to 300 left side 335 fight side 355 t stats are not accurate enough to calibrate must be replaced and pilot on left side bad also found heat shields on base pans warped and cracked Note: quoting additional repairs, closing out this work order.
Tested the Convection Oven unit and found the hot surface igniter was not coming on with voltage to it. The timing on the module was questionable too. Replaced the hot surface ignitor and installed the updated module because of safety concerns with the timing of the existing module. Turned on and tested for operation. All okay.
Removed and replaced Oven thermocouple, now holding pilot and main flame engages all okay. EMERGENCY CALL OUT
Examined door seal -- snapped back into slot. Will return with sealer. 3-13-17 Returned and added a little adhesive to door gasket.
Examined unit. Unit has slow spark, pilot lit. No voltage to main valve. Traced back to flame sensor not closing. Will order parts and return. Note: Quoted additional repairs of $1,197.08 (wo# 129621).
Examined unit. Replaced 2 speed motor and blower wheel. Wired in new motor. Heated up and re-tightened wheel locks. Unit up and running. Note: motor plate cracked and allowing some heat loss and hitting motor.
