Install new 40 gallon natural gas water heater with safe pan and a flood stop system, with all of the code updates to the gas temperature and pressure relief line and venting. There will be approximately 4 feet of three-quarter inch L type copper that will be replaced with a new three-quarter inch sweat ball valve installed at the cold main supply of the water heater. On the exterior there will be a nuvo softener put in on three-quarter inch copper pipe.
