Service call . Red tag stated , gas leak in supply . Found two leaks one on the main drop down from meter supply line and another on 1 inch bbq line . No union on bbq line . Customer was ok with cutting and capping both sides , due to the line not being used . Removed about 6 feet of black iron and reseal all threads along the way . Tested pipe system along with lighting both hot water tank and furnace . Clear red tag .
Lennox ac repair . Communication wire between furnace and condenser had been disconnected . Cut wire in ceiling and dropped down new wire to keep connection out of reach . Performed air conditioner maintenance and tested operation . Unit is operating great . Recommend furnace maintenance.
Furnace and Air Conditioner Installation
Furnace repair Furnace blower is seized. Blower will require replacement. While inspecting the furnace, checked over other furnace components and found the venter motor on the found to be very loud and seizing up as well. Recorded a video of the venter motor in operation to get a better understanding of how it sounds. Will provided furnace blower & venter motor repair quote. Due to the age of the equipment, customer asked for a furnace & air conditioning repalcement quote. Will provide quotes.
Air conditioning repair Defective breaker. Breaker will require replacement. Provided breaker repalcement cost. Cusotmer approved breaker replacment cost. Installed breaker and discovered bus bar where breaker attaches to is stripped . (Commander screw on breaker ) recommended an electrician should be called . Breaker is in stalled and providing the ac with 239 volt at time of repair . Performed an ac maintenance, unit was very dirty and slightly low on charge . I added 11 oz and dye .i recommended a maintenance next year at the same time or if an issues arises so we can perform a leak search at that time .
Installation of new AC with 10 yr parts & labour warranty.
Air conditioning repair Repaired damaged liquid line on air conditioning unit. Provided air conditioning repair quote. Customer declined replacing filter dryer & using a flush kit on the system. Customer is aware there will be no warranty honoured for todays work since declining line dryer repalcement & system flush. Customer approved the repair quote minus the filter dryer and system flush. Cut out damaged section and welded a coupling in place. Pressure tested system and pulled a vacuum. Unit required 5 LBS Of 410A refrigerant listed on manufactures rating plate. Added 5 LBS of 410A refrigerant and tested system. System is working normally and cooling the house.
York ac repair , unit is very low on charge , standing pressure of 100 psi with no liquid in the lines . Inside evaporator is frozen , can not do a leak search today , leak search starts at $90.00 . Dual capacitor also needs to be replaced , should be 35/5 and is reading 33/3 mfd . Dual capacitors cost 197.00 .
Tankless maintenance Tankless is in great shape, no issues or concerns found.
Replaced flex pipe for humidifier. Tested AC drain, no blockages or leaks. Checked refrigerant pressures to ensure it is not freezing up, refrigerant levels are good. Furnace filters are getting plugged up quite quickly due to ongoing renovations in home. Strongly Recommend checking filters weekly and replacing them often to avoid the chance of the Ac freezing again and causing potential water damage.
Thermostat repair Defective thermostat. Provided thermostat repalcement cost. Cusomter approved thermostat repalcement cost. Supplied and installed thermostat. Tested both heating and cooling operations. Thermostat is now operating normally.
