After getting annoyed at first that we had to replace the gas fireplace in our just purchased house - Salesman Steve was speedy (he really knows his fire stuff) and suggested a budget solution for our situation. Then another Steve the fireplace fitter expert especially came to the house to double check that everything would go smoothly on installation day - he was super friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend this company.

Furnace maintenance Discovered leaky ventor motor, submitted part required for repair. Adjusted gas pressure. Customer will call in payment.
Franklin 18000 Heat pump Continental gas stove
Ac service call . Air conditioning is low on r 22 , missing schrader caps con condenser and insulation around suction line set . Evaporator installed up in between the floor joists. Did not leak search unit due to tight spaces. Quoted new unit . Customer is most likely going with 14 seer 2 ton .
Lennox furnace repair . Install blower motor and dual pressure switch under part warranty through previous owner - labour charge only Installed new motor while testing furnace , I noticed furnace would not engage second stage heating , found defective dual pressure switched and install new switched . Also took note inducer motor was rubbing and grinding for first one of operation . Removed and inspected motor , found no broken fins or debris . Grinding went away quickly , could be from sitting all summer . Tested operation of heating and cooling , no other issues found . Note : blower cage wheel can not be removed due to flooring being 2 inch higher in front of furnace , installed motor inside furnace . Inspected secondary heat exchange best I could and blower wheel only has dust on the fins no debris . System is operating well , batteries in thermostat also needed replacing which I have taken care of .
Lennox furnace repair. Intermittent blower issues . Motor is receiving proper power of 120v consistently and 15v on communication wire from board to motor . Motor is failing on multiple speed tabs . Defective motor will need to be replaced before any further use or heating or cooling
Service call . Inspected and removed c vent and to verified chimney . Passage is clear from basement to roof , interior chimney is 4 inch to 6 , code compliant. Found small amount of debris and small bees nest in venting . Cleaned and removed debris from chimney and natural draft intake . Missing furnace filter door , made customer one on site and demonstrated how to install and remove filter door . Tested hot water tank draft with room door closed and ac running . Tank is drafting with no issues after cleaning. Have recommended installing a vent to communicate with the rest of the basement or leaving door cracked open.
Service call . Nest thermostat not communicating with furnace . Wire had been broken/ cut in ceiling . I have recommended a furnace and fireplace maintenance. Air conditioner is also very dirty outside .Thermostat wire for fireplace has also been broken/ cut . Notice a few other issues that will need to be addressed with return visit . Navien power supply and drain , gas tight strapped to the duct work etc.
No charge visit - ac maintenance visit owed to customer - visit 2 of 2 paid in full , condenser was very well cleaned by customer. Air conditioner dual capacitor was started to lose charge with a reading of 32/4 , installed new 35/5 and tested operation of unit . Unit is operating very well with no issues .
Air conditioning repair Defective capacitor. Unit is under 5 years old. Customer asked to run warranty. Office followed up with manufacture and there is parts warranty until September 2024. Capacitor will be covered under parts warranty. Customer understands there will be a labour charge to replace defective capacitor. Customer approved labour charge Replaced capacitor and tested air conditioning system. System is fully operational.
We installed a new furnace and air conditioner in a residential customer's home. The upgraded system was carefully installed and tested upon completion. The HVAC unit will be reliable for the home year round.
Ac maintenance Unit running well. Tightened fan on condenser as it was a little loose and rattling.
Furnace repair Customer states during the cold months the furnace would be very loud. Warmer days would be a hit or miss. It appears the B stack going straight through the house is making the noise. Customer states they can hear this noise up stairs as well. Vent pipe has some corrosion showing in the basement and customer did state they had water coming down the pipe into the basement at one point. Vent pipe could be falling apart behind the walls. Customer does not want to cut holes in walls to find out. Recommend updating water heater & furnace to high efficiency and capping the chimney vent. Customer did like the idea and would like high efficient furnace quotes.
