The company responded to my initial call within 30 minutes. Very impressed. The technician, Kyle, was polite, wore booties, and was very efficient. He found the problem and made the necessary repair. What started as a broken hot water unfortunately, resulted in a couple more problems with my boiler, and a broken cap from a radiator. Fortunately, the technicians from Evans were professional and knowledgeable. They were able to fix all the problems quickly.

Keeprite furnace repair , furnace was operating with a flame roll out engaged causing both fans to run all the time . After resetting sensor I checked c.o . Furnace is producing over 1000 ppm . I issued a red tags for high c.o and quoted 3 different furnace . We also briefly discussed new air conditioning and decided to pass for now .i have turned gas off not disconnected and disconnected low voltage w terminal so heat can not function but ac can .
Installed 50 gallon natural draft water heater.
12 year old American stardard furnace maintenance . Furnace is operating very well with no concerns at time of maintenance. Reusable filter needs to be cleaned .
Lennox ac start up , did not need to add 410 a . Breaker still needs to be replaced .
Furnace and Air Conditioner Installation
Service call back , error code on furnace when I arrived was one hour lock (alternating flashing red and green ) Flame sensor had very little to no reading before cleaning , tested after cleaning 2.4 ua . Furnace continue to fail when I installed top door to furnace . I used an inspection camera to verify intake and exhaust are clear from out , ( scope can reach about 5 feet down , no blockage found ) i then tested furnace with intake removed at furnace and found no difference . Inducer pressure which holds a vacuum pressure of 0.90 inw in first stage , with or without intake attached . Collector box vacuum holds 1.43 in first stage , with or with out intake . Tighten and adjusted some wires being affected by the furnace door and did not see furnace fail again . Watched furnace operate for about 15 mins . Verified furnace is not over heating and drain is probably flowing . No other issues found other then dirty flame . Furnace did not fail again after tighten wires .
Service call . Inspect and verified metal chimney in back of house is being used for hot water tank .
Furnace maintenance Inspected furnace and found small drops of water on the furnace blower deck. Removed blower and found the secondary heat exchanger is leaking. Make the customer aware of the situation. A red tag was issued due to the condition of the heat exchanger. Called supplier, heat exchanger is under warranty but on back order until march. Customer is aware there will be a labour charge to replace the heat exchanger. Customer is leaving for vacation and won’t be back until April. Customer would like to go forward with heat exchanger replacement.
Nu Air air handler currently has fan constantly running. Upon inspection it is dehumidifying due to high levels of humidity in the home. Cannot locate sensor or dehumidistat in home, but it is getting humidity readings somehow. This problem occurred just days after a stand alone dehumidifier in the basement was turned off. Humidity in basement is over 60%. Left unit operating with fan running and advised the stand alone dehumidifier gets turned back on. Customer will monitor the situation, however the fan should stop running constantly when lower humidity levels are achieved Paid by cheque.
