Steve and team installed a new furnace and a/c unit. They arrived as scheduled and completed the installation in a satisfactory and professional manner. Steve kept us informed throughout the process and made things right where required. Craig (A/C technician) needed to change pad for larger unit and even discussed options with us for our approval. We are very satisfied we chose Evans Plumbing and Heating.

The service tech was very professional. Was very thorough and explained what he was doing. I was totally impressed by his work ethics. A real asset to your firm. The only reason I gave the pricing a 4 star rating was that the $148.00 seemed, if my memory serves me, quite a bit higher than the last time. But I realize like everything else, your costs have increased, so it is not an issue with me. I will continue to use your company in the future. Thank you for your good service.

Furnace Maintenance: Replaced thermostat batteries (4xAA). Removed cob webs from pressure switch tubes. Inspected Humidifier and pad for proper winter operation. Successfully completed first and second stage diagnostic testing. Furnace is running well for its age 2010 (14/15 years old). Customer is paying balance with cheque.
Furnace maintenance: Suggest filter change within the month for maximum air flow results (16x25x1). Furnace passed all diagnostic testing. HRV maintenance: Removed the colony of dead bugs from your air intake. Cleaned both filters, core and the housing.

Furnace and Fireplace Maintenance and Inspection
Ruud furnace maintenance. Furnace is operating well . Removed condensation pump and cleaned . Filter needed to be replaced and still recommend installing a better quality filter , specially its animals in the home . Installed new thermostat ( customer provided ) and tested operations of heat cooling and fan . Cut and reattached drier venting.
Keeprite furnace repair . Furnace operated from the time I arrived till I left . Watched ignition multiple time . Cleaned flame sensor , furnace drain and drain trap . Verified venting is clear . Gas pressure set for 3.9 I have adjusted down to 3.5 inw . C.o was 17 ppm . Customer mentions furnace never stopped running fan , while testing I did not experience this but I did take note off delay is set to 120 seconds . Furnace also has fire dampers , I believe on a temperature fuse no wiring . Furnace failed on my way out the door to high limit . Changed filter and blower speed from blue to black ( highest fan speed .if problem persist , replace high limit and check evaporator coil . Blower motor is pretty clean . .
Keeprite furnace maintenance. Furnace is 18 years old , inducer bearings are very loud . Heat exchange is showing major signs of wear and tear but no cracks or holes were found during inspection . Furnace is operating well at time of testing . Discussed the options of buying new furnace , customer would like to wait till spring .
Lennox service call , 3 amp fuse on furnace circuit board had blown. Found mouse nest inside condenser , mice had exposed bare copper of the low voltage wiring, only on communication wiring . Inspected all other wiring for condenser . Trimmed wire and reconnected , test fired furnace until blower came on , no further testing done on furnace due to temperature in the house already being high . Tested operation of air conditioning by taking temperature differential of 17 f .
Lennox furnace maintenance, furnace is operating well
Furnace and AC maintenance and inspection. Both the furnace and AC are in great condition and working well at this time. Refrigerant levels are still good after top up 2 years ago. Found no signs of UV dye anywhere in system No problems or causes for concern found during visit. Customer paid in full in cash
Luxaire air conditioner maintenance. Unit was fairly dirty and needed to be cleaned . Once unit was clean the air conditioner is operating very well . The unit is providing 17 degrees of cooling .
Lennox ac repair , install condenser motor and test operation of air conditioner. Unit is operating very well with a 18 degree differential.
Lennox ac repair . Condenser fan motor starting to seize . I was able to get the unit up and running to verified refrigerant levels and compressor . The condenser also has a high pressure manual reset , so I have left the unit operation
