Service call . Red tag stated , gas leak in supply . Found two leaks one on the main drop down from meter supply line and another on 1 inch bbq line . No union on bbq line . Customer was ok with cutting and capping both sides , due to the line not being used . Removed about 6 feet of black iron and reseal all threads along the way . Tested pipe system along with lighting both hot water tank and furnace . Clear red tag .
Furnace and Air Conditioner Installation
Install ao smith 40 gallon hot water tank
Air conditioning repair System was working normally once turned on call for cooling. Temperature drop was 20 degrees. Contactor was chattering. Recommend replacing contactor before it stops working. While checking other components, outdoor condencer fan would start to slow down, then stop for a couple seconds and start back up. Tested capacitor and it was good. Inspected fan motor and tried spinning the fan blades by hand and motor is tight. Will provide quote for fan motor repalcement & contactor replacement.
Furnace & air conditioning maintenance. Furnace is in great shape, no issues or concerns found. Furnace filter has not been changed for 2 years. Highly recommend check & possibly changing furnace filter every 6-8 months. Customer does not have an accessible hose for the air conditioning system and wants the unit washed down properly. As well customer realized there’s poison ivy around the unit and was going to call office to reschedule air conditioning unit it was removed.
Arrived at a residential home for a tankless water heater installation. The new system is an upgrade for the home and will improve the home's energy efficiency. The customer is pleased with the replacement.
Air conditioning repair Breaker controlling outdoor condenser Is defective. It’s stuck in the off position and won’t turn on. House is sold and closing date is on the 8th, needs to show repairs where done by the correct trade. Cusotmer will call an electrician fix the breaker.
Repair - no power to the furnace, customer had a power surge, check circuit board and verified operation. Turned on switch off and on, and system fired up multiple times, unit operational
Tankless and AC maintenance and inspection. Tankless had previously had error code E003 “ignition failure” This is likely due to plugged air filter on intake pipe. Tankless would have been starving for air on trial for ignition. Performed full maintenance on unit, cleaned all filters and flushed system. AC maintenance- AC is in good condition and cooling well at this time. No problems or concerns found during visit. Replaced humidifier plastic tubing after solenoid valve.
Water leaking on top of furnace: Puddle of water ( condensation) was coming from the copper lines that lead to the evaporator coil. Sealed lines and door up with door gum. No more water leaking.
Ac maintenance Unit seems to run well in heat.
