Results: - All three appliances pass the gas inspection for the short-term rental form. - No safety issues identified. Recommendation: - Monitor the aging Rheem water heater, as failure is more likely due to age. - All appliances safe for rental occupancy.
Trane furnace comfort club maintenance and inspection. Furnace is operating safely and efficiently and in good condition at this time. Humidifier water valve was fully open causing large amounts of water to go down the drain. This was likely the cause of too much moisture windows and water on the floor by the floor drain. Changed valve position to about 90% closed where it should be. Recommend setting humidistat back to original position to see if moisture levels return to normal.

Arrived on site, no error code present on system, but did find error codes stored in the thermostat for inducer fault and gas valve fault. cycled power on and off to reset system thermostat calls for heat, the inducer does not come on and goes off on error code 42 for draft inducer error. Verified we had 120 volts going to motor and good electrical connections. Examined venting and found brown sludge all on the inside of the venting…see photos Tested inducer motor was not creating enough vacuum to close pressure switches Submitted quote required form for repair of inducer motor
