I had the most amazing experience from Evans. Called them to get a quote on a new AC/Furnace. Richard was out to the house within hours of my call to review my requirements/needs. Measured everything and provided a quote on site. During the review event noted a small issue with my second furnace and fixed it. The install was great! Furnace Maintenance (Continental furnace, approx. 2014): Continental is a Canadian-made brand, very nice furnace and working great. Found that the furnace was sloped away from the condensate drain line, which caused a minor leak at the condensate plug. Repaired the leak and sealed the plug. Noted that the furnace slope needs to be corrected to ensure proper drainage. Also found that the existing polyethylene drain tubing for the humidifier and water heater should be replaced with PVC piping running along the ground into a new floor drain (client will provide the new drain). The current floor drain is rusted and filled with debris. Observed that the humidifier is sitting loose on the return side and is sloping away, which could cause future leaks. Client has new humidifier pads on site. Advised re-leveling and properly securing the humidifier during future repair work.
