Thermostat had enough wires to control humidification. Wired humidifier wires at thermostat. Rewired humidifier in basement to run through furnaces thermostat. Set up humidifier settings in thermostat to give the humidifier a call for humidity when humidity drops below 45%RH. A call for humidity will be given with or without the furnace heating. Recommend disabling humidification in he summer in the thermostat settings and also unplugging the black wire going to the blue box at the base of the humidifier when emptying it for the summer.
Keeprite furnace maintenance and inspection. Furnace is working safely and efficiently and in great condition at this time. Found no problems or concerns with furnace during maintenance. Found loose wires in thermostat, tightened all connections to ensure system would work reliably.

Goodman furnace repair. Upon arrival burners were cycling on and off repeatedly. Checked flame rod reading, 0.1-0.2ua. Pulled and inspected flame rod, heavy buildup on it. Cleaned off and reinstalled part, checked readings again, 2.0-2.2ua. Furnace is working safely and efficiently at this time. Recommend yearly maintenance on furnace due to age (16 yrs old) Found no other problems or concerns with furnace during service call.
