Maurice Burrell was knowledgeable. friendly and professional. He explained everything clearly and did a great job!
Daniel came shortly after we called to address an issue where our system was blowing warm air. By the time he arrived, the issue seemed to resolve itself, nonetheless, he checked the system thoroughly and explained what he thought the issue was. Hope he was right! But prompt, kind and courteous.
Response from Hydes Air Conditioning:
Thank you for the great review John
He was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
Hydes responded first thing in the morning about my request for someone to look at my condenser unit. I thought it was making an unfamiliar and concerning sound. Alex was prompt, professional and patient -
We have to see if everything works over time but he seemed to do a great job.

Alex was awesome. Kind, respectful, professional and so fast.
Performed a cooling maintenance on a Lennox condenser, condenser located on backside of home, filter located inside fau, fau located located in second floor hallway closet , changed filter, flushed condensation line, on condenser check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for capacitor, check for freon level, everything within range , clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed condenser coil. System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance. (Billed Job)
Performed a cooling maintenance on a York condenser, condenser located on backside of home, filter located in filter rack, fau located on second floor hallway closet, changed filter, flushed condensation line, on condenser check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for capacitor, check for freon level, everything within range , clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed condenser coil. System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance. (Billed Job)
Performed a cooling maintenance on a 2024 American Standard silver series and a R22 condenser, condenser located on front right side of home, filter located in hallway ceiling and bottom wall , fau located in hallway closet, changed filter, flushed condensation line, on condenser check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for freon level, check for capacitors, everything within range also clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed condenser coil. Systems are working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance.
Performed a cooling maintenance on American Standard package unit, changed filter, filter located in ceiling, flushed condensation line, on unit check for amperage and voltage, check for compressor, check for freon level, check for temperature split, everything within range also clear out dust accumulated inside electrical component area and rinsed unit coil. System is working within specification in cooling at the time of maintenance.
Performed annual AC maintenance on 2019 day and night condensing unit. System has a 16 x 25 x 1 filter. I was unable to change filter due to cabinet being in front of closet door. Cycled system from thermostat. Thermostat is operational. Checked out, volt, capacitor, and cleaned electrical compartment. Checked refrigerant levels, superheat, subcool, and temperature split. System has several issues with electrical and refrigerant levels. System is low on refrigerant between 3 to 4 pounds. Also systems 45/5 capacitor is weak. Capacitor is reading 40 MFD out of manufactured suggested range. System also has high startup amps. Startup amps rated for 79.0 unit is starting up at 85.5 A. Also systems condenser fan motor is operating at above max rated amps. Max rated amps is 1.10 and condenser fan motor is pulling 1.24 A. Emailed estimate for recommendation.
Performed first annual cooling/summer maintenance on (2) 2017 Day & Night heat pump split systems. One serves upstairs and one downstairs. Upstairs air handler in closet. Changed 20x30 filter underneath and cleared condensation drain. Downstairs unit air handler in garage attic, tested condensate pump, changed (2) 14x30 upper wall filters in dining room. Cleaned out electrical compartments. Condensers on side of home. Cleaned condenser coils. Checked amps, volts, start and run capacitors, refrigerant charges, and temperature splits. Both systems are cooling properly at time of service. Found 40uf compressor capacitor at 1.7uf and reading 0 amps. Recommended and replaced capacitor to prevent compressor damage. Compressor amps lower now too. Signed up on Silver Comfort Club membership.
Upon arrival, put your noise that was in question. Noise was coming from condenser coil rubbing against metal on outdoor unit. Put insulation over small part that was rubbing against metal after doing so noise went away. Client is satisfied and happy.
Cooling maintenance on 2021 American standard rooftop package heat pump unit. Changed out 20 x 20 filter located in ceiling, cleared all electrical components of dust in debris, checked proper sequence of operation, checked volts and amps, checked capacitor, verified refrigerant levels and took temperature splits and cycled equipment. Washed condensing coil and cleared condensation drain, thermostat checked out OK. System is within manufacturer specifications and cooling and operating properly at this time of service. Signed client up for Hyde annual comfort plan.

Upon arrival, system was up and cooling down the house. Client informed me that it had started cooling down the house properly after calling. Checked outdoor unit and indoor unit also checked power levels as well as water pump. All is within range and system is already having designated temperature on thermostat. Informed client could’ve been a power surge and to call us back up. System is down and doesn’t turn back on after 15 to 20 minutes.
Client new system wasn’t working before she call for a maintenance,,,,, upon arrival only part running was the blower motor after further inspection found capacitor out range and unit flat on 410 refrigerant unit holds 7 pounds of refrigerant at 154.00 per pound,,,,,call Jeremy to advice talk about replacing unit sent estimate client is a realtor
Executed a cooling maintenance on a split system. Wash down condenser coil and air filter. Capacitor – good. Measured running and starting amperage on all motors and performed a refrigerant circuit diagnostic. Courtesy wrapped vapor line in insulation. System is cooling the home at the time of maintenance.
