Prompt and professional service

A main breaker to my house cut the circuit and 1/2 my home was without electricity. We lost all the food in our fridge and freezer and the breaker on that circuit also supplied power to our HVAC , Irrigation and outside lights. Hydes electrical came out in 48 hours with a new breaker and installed it. When the closed the circuit one of my 4 AC condensers blew up. Not dramatizing, it fried the motor, Freon leaked out , it was a mess. I asked the electrician if he could take photos of the entire system and have their HVAC division give me a quote on replacement. I had that sent to me the same day. This is a very responsive and professional organization.

Performed annual cooling maintenance on a 2021 American Standard 5ton package unit. Replaced 20x30 filter located in hallway upper wall. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, amperage, capacitors, temperature split, Freon levels, cleared and assured proper drainage at condensation line and rinsed condenser coils. Honeywell thermostat checked out operational. System is working properly in cooling at this time of service.

Made corrections to those provided by inspector for install. Sealed hole in platform for East air handler, sealed with foam and coated with water-sealant glenkote. Re-sealed plenum for east air handler. Checked accessibility for filters for ducted mini splits. Bathroom attic unit with filter rack at back end is only due to equipment design and home design for access to supply and return ducting. Cannot flip air handler around due to space and established supply and return ducts for customer home. Inspector may have seen some registers as supply when they are custom registers for returns with filters behind and access from occupied rooms with step stool.

Upon arrival homeowner stated 1050 thermostat for master bedroom was changing temp to 78 specifically in cooling without her touching thermostat. Went through all functions and touch calibration and thermostat is working properly. She stated this is he only 1050 thermostat out of 3 that is doing this temperature change. Found this is the only thermostat that has scheduling enabled and when I checked schedule it had multiple times it would change cooling setpoint to 78. Turned off scheduling as homeowner prefers changing temperatures manually. She also noticed it wasn’t connecting to internet (deerfield2) . Rebooted thermostat and turned network services on. Thermostat is now connected to internet and phone app again. Homeowner needs maintenance done before 30th with high priority as she’s leaving the country for months and will have a 100 year old relative and parents who don’t speak the best English and so doesn’t want systems to have any problem so they can have peace of mind. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, amperage, temperature split, Freon levels, found no error codes on CDA, and rinsed condenser coils. 1050 thermostat checked out operational. System is working properly in cooling at this time of service.

Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage, amperage, capacitor, temperature split, Freon levels, cleared condensation line from jones valve, per clients request, courtesy, vacuumed leaves and debris sitting at the bottom in the condenser, and cleaned condenser coils. Set thermostat back to 85°. Thermostat checked out operational. System is working properly in cooling at this time of service.

Replaced 2)20x25 and 20x20 filters located throughout the house and garage FAU. Cleared condensation line from jones valves. Removed auto schedule and eco mode on both thermostats per clients request. Both systems are working properly in cooling at this time of service.

Caregiver stated it cools for a couple hours then turns off, blowing hot air. Cycled system into cooling, check refrigerant pressures, temperature splits, verified drain line is clear and dry. Monitored operation for 20 mins. System is cooling properly at this time. Advised caregiver that we can’t see what’s going on or we would be able to repair it. Called Greg (caregiving company boss) and left message on voicemail about findings. Advised client if this happens again to give us a call immediately to make sure we can see what exactly is happening.

Came to property for loss of power to exterior outlets. Verified that all branch circuit breakers were putting out proper voltage. Inspected outlets that had no power and determined that there was a faulty GFCI affecting the circuit. Replaced with new weather rated GFCI and tested for proper function. Will provide customer with email estimate for panel rejuvenation and installation of whole home search protection.

Home has 3 systems,,two of them are 25 years old,,,,,system serial # 3882 blower working condenser wasn’t after further inspection found blow capacitor replaced capacitor also unit low on refrigerant talk about preforming a leak check to ping point what part of the system is leaking not interested in doing that,,,talk about replacing both units client will let us know next week,,,,,,client just signed up for one system because they might get two new system with Hyde’s
