Refrigerant circuit diagnostic – good. Credit card payment failure on club membership. System is cooling the home at the time of maintenance.

Upon arrival, found thermostat for system serial number JM5S blank. Upon further inspection, found the water safety triggered, cleared condensation line at FAU and located outside termination to verify line has been properly cleared, removed all dust and debris away from outside termination covered by bushes and also cleared through outside termination and a secondary. Thermostat now has power restored, and system is cooling and operating. Informed client if issue presents itself, may need to move to condensate pump to prevent system, shutting off due to condensation back up triggering safety switch.

Upon arrival found system calling for cool but only indoor blower and condenser fan motor operating, upon further inspection found flat 45MFD capacitor and error code 6 flashes indicating open start circuit, replaced a 45 MFD capacitor and added compressor saver kit and tested unit. Verified temperature split, system is now cooling and operating properly at this time of service. Signed client up for annual comfort membership

Perform a cooling maintenance on a split system unit. Check sequence of operations by checking out all electrical and refrigeration levels. All electrical components are within specifications. Upon checking refrigerant found system low last time. We added a refrigerant was three years ago. Suggested we add 2 pounds of refrigerant to help bring system closer to manufacturer specifications. Client agreed after adding 2 pounds refrigerant levels are within specifications getting a 20° split at this time, cleaned out, condensation line, as well as filter and condenser unit system at this time is pulling down the house properly will continue to monitor system.

Demand Service Report 4 ton 2004/ horizontal Issue Reported: Upon arrival, the client reported that their air conditioning system is taking significantly longer than usual to cool the home. Inspection and Findings: • Inspected ductwork in the attic — ductwork is outdated but still in tact. • Evaluated system performance and identified the following: • The compressor is drawing extremely high amperage. • Refrigerant levels are slightly low. • The system uses R-22 refrigerant, which has been phased out. I advised the client that adding refrigerant (if available) may further increase compressor amp draw, which could potentially lead to system failure. System Age: The system is approximately 21 years old. Recommendations: • Discussed the benefits of replacing the system due to age, inefficiency, and the discontinued refrigerant. • Also recommended zoning the house to allow for more efficient temperature control in different areas.
