Poor Installation and Not Standing Behind The Work

I sent the following to Barry in response to an estimate sent on 8/28…but haven’t gotten a reply; I don’t understand why I need to pay $1049 for an incorrect installation of my mini-split you installed back in March. These require a dedicated circuit but your installer tapped into an existing breaker sub-box dedicated for my main AC unit. Now when the main AC is under load the mini-split trips the 15A breaker. It happens regularly. Your guys have checked it out twice and both times said it needs a dedicated circuit. Why wasn’t this done as part of the installation? Now I am supposed to pay another $1049 for a problem your installers created?

We called Hyde Ac on a Friday afternoon. It was James who came to check on our AC. James was fantastic and very professional. He did not let us without a non working AC over the long weekend. Checked amperage, refrigerant levels, and motor performance. Cleaned condenser coils. Cleared and confirmed proper drainage of condensate lines. I Performed Maintenance on both the Cooling Systems. Also cleaned washable filters. Both Cooling Systems are 2018 and 2019 models located on the ground. I also flushed both the condensate drains. I found that the AC Disconnect Box for the Living Room Unit S#JEF2F is falling apart. Would strongly recommend replacing the disconnect box. Lastly I would recommend installing two Hard Start Kits to help reduce compressor start up amperage. Attached separate estimates for both recommendations. Both Cooling Systems are operational at the time of the service.
