This was the second company that I called for an estimate. First company informed me that the chimney needed to be re-lined. The first company took pictures with a drone and his phone. Second Generation was on my roof within minutes after they arrived. I was informed me that I needed to have my chimney cleaned and that it was going to add another hundred dollars to my inspection. Ok lets do it! Not happy about spending more but they couldn’t give an evaluation without it. This was the first cleaning in 29 years! Shame on me! The cleaning saved me thousands of dollars from making a costly mistake. The chimney was fine and didn’t need replacement! It was necessary to replace cracked and broken refractory panels in the firebox. Troy just finished replacing the boards and I am extremely grateful for his professional manner and his quality work. I am looking forward to using my fire place soon and I will get it cleaned yearly . Thank You!
