I don't mind spending $500 to fix the broken pipe that was leaking water into the street, especially since the hole that needed to be dug was pretty big. But overcharging for the control box was irritating. $500 for a box that retails for less than $100, which certainly wholesale is closer to $50. Sure, it includes installation, but that price was exorbitant, especially since I had to wait until 5 on Monday for a call I initiated online Sunday AM. Would be nice to have someone available to respond on weekends. The service form online should have a box to check for 'urgent'.
