-Drain, disconnect and dispose of existing water softener -Inspect all plumbing associated with the water softener -Install new 48k water softener with Clack WS1 control valve and bypass -Add salt to brine tank -Pressurize unit and check for leaks -Do a regeneration on water softener to ensure its operating efficiently
