I recently completed a job for a client who had a Rheem split system that was not cooling properly. After inspecting the system, I found that the evaporator coil was frozen over. I thawed the coil using a heat gun and then cleaned it with a coil cleaner. I also checked the refrigerant levels and found that they were low. I added more refrigerant and then tested the system again. The client was happy with the results and thanked me for my help.
