The sales rep told me I was buying the best most long lasting reliable unit! Then with every servicing they want me to buy a $420 "performance enhancement unit" that only Trane actually includes in their design. Mine is not a Trane. Then they also want me to add on $380 in "surge protection equipment to protect my investment". If the unit did not have these "essential" basics why weren't they included in the original purchase? Why did they sell me this unit instead of a Trane? Why was this unit $1000 MORE than my friends paid for $2000 sq ft units and mine is just for $800 sq ft? why? I will let you draw your own conclusions.
Earl is very willing to share his answers on questions concerning owner maintenance and thermostat operations.
