Jordan finished checking furnaces relatively quick then presented me with a litany of recommendations (units only 9 yrs old). I did accept one of the suggestions- to replace the flame detector ($169) since he said it was corroded (though I never saw it) and could result in gas leakage- which sounded like a hazardous condition. However I never received a copy of the actual receipt for the payment- just got invoice showing all the findings. Had to wait for it to show on credit card statement to confirm amount billed! Also, he had no replacement filters (and I was probably 1st customer of the day)- which I thought was part of the service deal. I had replaced the filters recently so they were good, but was hoping to get new ones for later use. Not sure I’ll re-up with CC in the spring.
