Complete 2 heating tune-up. Find upstairs heating operating with worn ignition, weak flame safety, and weak blower smc. Find main system operating with badly worn flame safety and blower smc reading 4.5/10uf rated. Need to replace both parts to prevent failure. System operating but not reliable. Change both filter and complete check. Find open floor plan house in living room causing upstairs to be hotter. The downstairs thermostat should be in the master bedroom to have better control of that room's comfort level.
