Complete 2 system a/c repair and preventative maintenance check. Checked electrical and mechanical components on both systems. Dusted electrical cabinets and changed filters, which were filters supplied by the customer. Cleared drain lines and installed union to PVC drain line on downstairs unit. Found downstairs evaporator coil to have Freon leak and low pressures. Found both evaporator coils with rust and corrosion. Due to age and condition of equipment I recommend upgrading systems to more reliable and more efficient systems. Customer requested to recharge downstairs system for now. Customer is aware the refrigerant will leak back out and that there is no guarantee on how long it will last. Recharged system with 2 lbs of R-22. Chemically washed condenser coils to finish up. Both systems are cooling at this time.
