Complete 2 system a/c repair and preventative maintenance check. Found 14-year-old systems both with very dirty blower wheels which will decrease air flow in the house. Both have weak capacitors which put extra stress on motors and could make them fail prematurely. Changed filters and cleared drain lines. Systems have no secondary water safety device which protects the system from water damage. There is concerning amounts of bacteria growth in each unit. Suggest putting UV air treatment into system to kill any bacteria viruses or allergens in the air that could cause harm to residents. Outdoor units have good pressures and working electrical components. Systems have no compressor saver to take load off compressor during start up and allow compressor to live longer.
