Heatpump not heating in Jefferson, Georgia. Found system with bad compressor, rusty and corroded evaporator coil, weak blower capacitor (7.5uf), dirty blower wheel, weak dual capacitor, and no water safety. Ductwork is not up to today’s codes because it isnt r8. System runs on r22 refrigerant which has been phased out by the epa. Due to age and condition of system, recommend upgrading system to a more reliable and more efficient system.
