Complete 1 system a/c repair and preventative maintenance check. Changed filter. Installed union on drain line and cleared line. Tested mechanical and electrical components. Found blower capacitor to be weak (7.5 uf) recommend repair. System has no water safety whatsoever and is therefore not up to code, recommend adding water safety to protect ceiling from potential water damage. Found blower wheel to be dirty, recommend blower wheel cleaning along with duct cleaning. Found compressor pulling high amps and main electrical switch to have electrical pitting present. Chemically washed condenser coil. System is cooling at this time. Due to age and condition of system, recommend upgrading system to a more reliable and more efficient system.
