Set up humidifier settings in thermostat to give the humidifier a call for humidity when humidity drops below 45%RH. A call for humidity will be given with or without the furnace heating. Recommend disabling humidification in he summer in the thermostat settings and also unplugging the black wire going to the blue box at the base of the humidifier when emptying it for the summer.
