🔧 Service Debrief (Short Version) Client reported heater not turning on. Inspected Coleman furnace (1993 model) — pilot would not light. Tested relays, power, transformer, and low voltage. Determined ignition assembly is faulty and needs replacement. Client also has a ground-level package unit (heat pump). System operates in both heat and cool modes. Replaced faulty thermostat with Honeywell 100, but system did not start. Further inspection found animal damage to ductwork and thermostat wiring. Discussed findings with client. Will follow up with estimate for duct repair and new thermostat wire.
