Today’s annual cooling maintenance consisted of one 2016 American standard unit. I first began with replacing the filter in upflow air handler to ensure proper air circulation is occurring at minimum restriction. I then cleared the condensation via jones valve to ensure proper drainage is occurring. The Google thermostat is properly calling for cool and turned the system on successfully. The amps on the motor are checked out good, verifying a controlled vintage is being throughout the system. And the capacitor is also checking out in its rated range. I thoroughly washed the coils down on the outdoor unit to ensure the coils are free of any debris and dirt buildup, helping the system maintain its airflow. Overall this 2016 American standard unit is operating to manufacture specs at this time of cooling preventative maintenance.
