Ridiculous price.

Overall we feel your price of replacing a $13.63 thermocouple to be ridiculous. $120/hr. travel time? Know gas and some expenses have gone up but this is very high. We have no service companies that charge us anything near that. Don't understand why your travel time is marked 3/23 when the job was done on the 24th. Then you charge mileage? Travel time should include all costs of getting there. We got charged twice for labor and don't understand that either. $60 for a half-hour labor and then $200 for an hour of labor - for what??? Wasn't here and hour and one-half!! All in all you charged us $364.25 total to replace a $13.63 thermocouple - outrageous!! To say the least we will never use you again and not recommend you to anyone.

Arrived at location on 3/6/22 - Received call from Billy that his griddle was down and he requested emergency service for unit. Arrived to location and found unit. The unit was extremely difficult to work on because staff were using it. I started inspection and believe the thermocouple was the culprit. Unfortunately, unit is a magic kitchen, I cannot find parts or part diagrams of unit. I believe it is an avantco product but could not find parts. Staff repeatedly got raw egg and product dropped on me while trying to work. Unit too difficult to further diagnose due to lack of space or room to tear unit further. From searching online I found a similar part that may work but cannot guarantee due to manufacturer being closed and no diagram availability. Will put an order in for part. Unit in service. Returned to location on 3/11/22 - Removed top panel and lowered bottom. Removed pilot assy and removed t couple from it. Installed new one and put assy back in. Installed other en

Arrived at location on 1/19/22 - Came for noisy fan issue. Client hasn’t heard the condenser fan and the unit isn’t cooling as well as it needs to. Compressor compartment is hot and the compressor is off from the thermal overload. Recommended not running the unit until the fan is replaced as the compressor could die. I do not have a motor that will fit. Vendors are closed. Will need to follow up tomorrow to see when I can get one. Returned on 1/20/22 - Came to replace motor. Picked up motor and installed clockwise motor. Tested successfully.

Arrived at location on 9/30/21 - Found convection oven off. Chef explained that it would intermittently not heat. Sometimes it would, sometimes not at all. Confirmed door switch works, burner track is clean, flame sensor is clean. Checked module, module gave 9 blinks, which is internal issue with module. Will need new ignition module. Returned to location on 10/6/21 - Arrived and customer was finished using it. Open and removed the faulty module and installed the new module. Power on and unit comes on and heats. Open / close doors and it restarts each time. Installed front panel and the burner cover and restarted the unit. At temp and has not failed. Back in service.

Arrived at location on 8/4/21 - Per customer, right oven too hot and left oven goes out after 20 minutes or so. Both oven doors are open a 1/4 ". Made adjustments to both doors and now they both close. Checked the right oven temp and found that the oven knobs was not in the correct place and is loose. Set knob in the correct position and tighten down fully till tight on shaft. Tested at 350° And cycle many times and temp calibration is right on. Moved to left oven and knob is loose. Set in proper place and checked the pilot and it is very low. Shut off and pulled the pilot out and removed and cleaned the pilot orifice which was dirty. Assemble and installed back in oven and lit it and have a nominal pilot now. Run burner and set at 350 and allow to cycle. Left side is a convection oven and it runs and door switch is operating properly.

Found the Ice Machine unit full of ice. Removed the ice from the curtain and the ice machine turned on and made ice normally. I then took a long screwdriver and purposely put the unit into a short freeze cycle. The error 8 came up and started to blink the the unit went into another freeze cycle as it is supposed to do. Was ready to order a thickness probe for it when the unit went into another harvest cycle. Removed the front cover and we (Bill and I) saw all the lights on the control board momentary blink on the only the lights that were supposed to be on stayed on. Told Bill either the control board is bad or they had a power surge. Called Scottsman and talked to Fred in service. He agreed and gave me a part number of 11-0621-11 control board. Need one. 9/25/20 Checked in with MOD - Bill. Bill states unit has been running properly since Mike made repairs during last visit. Bill also states he would like to keep board on hand in the event unit stops working again but does not w

Found Prep Table unit unplugged with a sign do not plug in. No one at Panera knew what was going on with the unit The compressor terminal cover was loose so I tested the windings on the compressor. Plugged the unit in and found the suction pressure went below zero within a minute. Unplugged and leak tested. Added nitrogen to 220 psi and leak checked again. While leak checking found the evaporator fan motor and blade missing. Need a new fan motor , fan blade and to evacuate and weigh in a charge if the pressure holds. Need one. 800402 fan motor and a 801002 blade. 7/27/20 Return to replace the fan motor and found unit was completely out of charge. Troubleshot and found discharge line close to the compressor was leaking. Repaired the leak and pressure tested system at 150 psi for 10 minutes, no sign of leak. Released the nitrogen gas and pulled vacuum on the system, charge unit to manufacturer's spec. Started the unit and checked unit operating pressure, unit is working pro
