Service Summary Responded to a no cooling call. Found system intermittently cooling. This is an older R-22 air conditioner manufactured in 2003. System is low on refrigerant, causing erratic pressure and poor cooling performance. Advised client that R-22 is a phased-out refrigerant, making repairs more limited and costly. Discussed the option of adding UV dye and leak sealant along with an R-22 top-up to potentially locate and slow the leak. Clearly explained that there is no guarantee this will be effective or that it won’t negatively impact the compressor or other components. If the leak is large enough and UV dye becomes visible, future repair may be possible. Client is not interested in replacing the furnace at this time but was provided with air conditioner-only replacement options. The line set runs through finished ceilings, and the client prefers not to cut holes. If replacement proceeds, we will flush and reuse the existing line set. Client intends to discuss options with f
