Client reported no airflow to a bedroom vent. Inspected ductwork in the basement and removed an access panel to investigate. Located and adjusted an air damper in a difficult-to-reach area above the ductwork. Opened the damper, successfully restoring airflow to the affected bedroom. Performed maintenance on the Daiken ductless system. Filters were heavily clogged with drywall dust and were cleaned thoroughly with a hose. Inspected and cleaned both the indoor and outdoor units, including the condensate drain. System is now running well in both heating and cooling modes. Also discussed the client’s Reliance-rented water heater and outlined the long-term benefits of owning equipment outright. Sent an estimate for a Navien tankless water heater as a high-efficiency ownership option.
