Performed A/C tune-up on a Carrier straight cool zoned system and checked the electrical, mechanical and performance systems of the unit. Cleared, cleaned, flushed and treated the drain line. Cleaned the exterior of the furnace and washed the outdoor coil. I found the outdoor fan motor was showing signs of overheating. I presented repair options to Mr. Stewart and he chose to have the fan motor replaced at this time and install a surge protector for the condenser unit. I replaced the fan motor and programmed it to the correct speed. I then installed the surge protector and reset power. No other major issues found. The system is operational at the completion of service.
