Recently, one of my AC units stopped working. Max accessed the unit, determined the problem, ordered the necessary part and had repaired within 24 hours. His kindness and expertise are reasons I can depend on Garner AC & Heating. I highly recommend their company!

Performed cooling maintenance. Checked electrical, mechanical and performance of the system. Cleared and treated drain line and washed condenser coil. Found the indoor blower wheel covered with mold and the condenser fan motor was leaking grease. Please see attached checklist for full tune-up details. Showed customer options for repairs and they chose to have the blower wheel cleaned and fan motor replaced. I replaced the fan motor, and everything is on and running at this time.

Rebuilt and insulated condensate drain line. Cleared and treated drain. Replaced secondary drain pan. Installed new filter dryer, pressure tested with dry nitrogen and pulled a vacuum on the copper line set. Installed Stage 3 and Stage 4 Breathe Easy packages. Replaced both supply and return plenums and sealed with mastic airlock. Installed surge protector at the outdoor main panel. Charged system to factory spec. System is working properly at time of departure.
Performed AC cool check on two systems. No major issues were found. Drain lines cleared and flow tested with water. Condenser coils clean. Electrical disconnects confirmed in and on. Systems were running at the time of departure.
Trip 1 - Performed service diagnostic. Diagnostic found that the secondary drain pan is rusted. Rust has made it’s way into the safety switch on the pan causing it to malfunction. Drain pan is a 33x64 inch pan. Options for repair were presented to the customer and they chose to have the safety switch and the secondary drain pan replaced. Safety switch was replaced today, and we will return to complete drain pan replacement. Our office will reach out once pan received to schedule return visit. System was function checked and is operational. Trip 2 - Secondary drain pan was replaced. System was running at the time of departure
Installing a new 5 ton Carrier Heat Pump. Installed new Eco bee Pro thermostat . Rebuilt and insulated condensate drain line. Replaced secondary drain pan. Installed new filter dryer, pressure tested with dry nitrogen and pulled a vacuum on copper line set. Replaced return plenum and added a 12x12 RFG in back bedroom. Replaced 2 iboxs and ductwork going to the bathroom and back bedroom. Sealed all ductwork connections and buckets with mastic.
Performed the AC tune-up. While performing the inspection I did find deficiencies with the system. The client chose to have the mandatory repairs done at this time. I did replace the Stage 4 Breathe Easy Package and moved it to the return plenum. Everything is working at this time.
Installed new Carrier/Payne straight electric 2.5-ton system. Replaced the plenum and sealed with mastic airlock. Rebuilt condensate drain line and insulated it. Added SS-2 safety switch to drain line. Replaced inline filter dryer, pressure tested with dry nitrogen and pulled a vacuum on copper line set. Charged system to factory specs and replaced the condenser breaker. System is working properly at this time.

After performing that repair as well everything is coming on and working at this time. I also spoke to the client about a start assist for the compressor and he chose to go ahead and have me install one at this time.

After performing the diagnostic, I found that the battery capacitor had completely failed. I presented the customer with his options, and he chose to have it replaced as well as adding a start assist to the condenser. After making the repairs everything is coming on and working at this time.
